What Is Device Verification?

Device Verification occurs when you install UpRock on any new Andriod device to determine if your device is real or not. It is mandatory in order to use the UpRock app. It is currently available on Android devices.

During verification, UpRock runs a series of integrity tests over a period of approximately 3 to 7 days while you mine. All earnings from that device are locked during this period β€” but they are not lost.

Tip: You can still view your locked earnings during verification. Open the app, go to "Wallet", and tap the "Devices" tab to see your current mining progress per device.

How the Verification Process Works

Here is what happens step by step during Device Verification:

  1. Install UpRock on your device. Verification begins automatically.

  2. Mine continuously over the verification period (3–7 days). The tests run in the background as you mine, so staying active is essential to completing them on time.

  3. All earnings remain locked until verification is complete. Once your device passes all tests, your accumulated earnings are unlocked and transferred to your main wallet.

  4. Withdrawal limits increase upon successful verification β€” from 5,000 UPT every 24 hours to 50,000 UPT every 24 hours.

What Can Trigger a Restart of Device Verification?

Device Verification can automatically restart if UpRock detects any of the following:

  • Manual modification of your device software or footprint β€” including jailbreaking, installing custom ROMs, or changing bootloader settings.

  • Failing integrity tests β€” integrity checks continue running in the background even after verification is complete. If your device fails a check, verification may restart. Contact Support for further details.

  • Uninstalling the UpRock app β€” even for troubleshooting purposes. If you uninstall and reinstall the app, you will need to go through the full Device Verification process again.

Important: Do not uninstall the UpRock app to fix issues, as this will reset your Device Verification. Reach out to the UpRock support team for troubleshooting assistance instead.

Tips for a Smooth Verification

  • Keep the app open and mining consistently throughout the 3–7 day verification window.

  • Do not modify your device settings, install custom firmware, or jailbreak during this period.

  • Monitor your locked earnings any time via Wallet > Devices tab.

  • If verification seems stuck or is taking longer than 7 days, contact UpRock Support before taking any action on your device.
